Product Designer born in Brazil, and NYC bred. Always dreaming and hungry for more

Me

Growing up in a different country, I was fortunate enough to not only experience life in São Paulo, Brazil, but also see the different design tastes the world had to offer. Moving to Texas and then later to New York City, I learned Americana was bigger & much more complex than a simple single word. Later through a quick stay in the UK, and parts of Europe and visiting Asia, I realized a whole set of design tastes and was even more curious of not only how big the world was, but how big the word “design” was: from street posters, delivery apps, websites, POS systems, usabilities on digital kiosks, LED signage, to even supermarket layouts. The world as I knew grew bigger and I got even more curious. So the lesson I took with me was that one will never know enough and one should always stay curious and hungry.

01

Product Design

I’ve worked for various sized companies (startup, agencies, big corporations) and have worked on large initiatives (entire e-commerce user experience refreshes) to small ones (updating visibility of a Rewards CTA/button to boost conversion in Checkout).

02

Current Role

I’m currently a Product Design Lead at Goldbelly Inc, a food-shipping startup, that has seen an accelerated 388% growth of Users during my stay here (‘19 - today). Directly reporting to our CPO, I oversaw the many product tasks (180 & counting) within the Product team. Being the sole Product Designer for 2 out of my 3 years here, I touched products/features/updates within the 4 platforms (therefore 4 pods/tribes) at Goldbelly:

  • Our main customer-facing e-commerce full experience

  • Our internal tool where most of the company interacts with in a daily basis (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Growth, etc.)

  • Our merchants tool (a dashboard where each one of our Merchants/Restaurants view/edit/fulfill their orders)

  • Our customer service tool (another dashboard where our Customer Service agents use to view/edit/reship/cancel orders while on the phone with a User)

I also wore many hats, dabbling in Growth, Marketing, physical 10 ft. banners, decks & many other things.

Thank You

Thank you for somehow landing on my page and making this far down the page. Maybe it’s just southern hospitality, but I’m sure you are having a hectic day, so I just wanted to say “Thank you very much & I hope you have a good one”
